JASON TREFT
Chief Information Officer
Jason Treft serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and is responsible for the company’s global information technology organization, functions and strategy.
Jason joined Merit in 2007 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for 10 years prior to becoming the CIO. He has driven digital transformation, information security initiatives and supported Merit’s business integrations and expansions on 6 continents.
Since 1996, Jason has worked in many segments of the IT industry including data centers, internet services and technical training. Prior to Merit, he owned an IT consulting firm offering systems and network administration, cloud-based hosting services and cybersecurity.
