JOE WRIGHT

As President, Joe is central to executing Merit’s strategic plan and positioning the company for continued success.

Prior to his role as President, he served as Chief Commercial Officer. His responsibilities encompassed leading the development and expansion of Merit’s global commercial activities, which resulted in continued revenue growth and margin improvement.

Over the years, Joe has held multiple positions at Merit, including President of the International Division, Vice President of Global Marketing, Head of OEM, and President of the Technology Group. He played a pivotal role in expanding Merit’s international footprint, leading business units across APAC and the Americas, and supporting company expansion worldwide.

Throughout his career, Joe has been steadfast in his efforts to improve the lives of patients, a dedication that has led to sustained value creation for Merit’s shareholders.

Before joining Merit, he held sales, marketing, and business development positions with Motorola and Micron. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia University, and he speaks Japanese.
